WE ARE MICROGENERATION SPECIALISTS

Microgeneration is the ‘local’ production of green energy on a relatively small scale.

There are a number of different microgeneration technologies, and we at SkyGen Renewable Energy Solutions specialise in designing and installing microgeneration systems to generate electricity for your home, small business or community by harnessing the power of the sun and the wind using SolarPV and Wind Turbine technologies.

Generating your own electricity has never been easier, and now with the government legislated Feed-in-Tarriff (FIT) scheme; financially there has never been a better time to invest in your own Microgeneration system, whether that is a Solar PV or Wind turbine installation.

So you can now not only generate Clean Renewable Energy by harnessing the Power of the Sun and the Wind, but also an income!

Why Should I?

Over the last few years we have all heard lots about the scientific communities warnings over global warming and its predicted environmental effects. The burning of fossil fuels create green house gasses which pollute the earths atmosphere, all to meet our insatiable demand for energy. Whilst the evidence to support this view is considerable (and growing) many people still remain sceptical.

I think its safe to say that for us at SkyGen Renewable Energy Solutions the concerns about the environment are a major motivation, however, whether you believe the scientist are correct or not, there are many other reasons why we think that you should be considering generating your own renewable energy.

    Financial

  • GET PAID for all the electricity you produce - as part of the governments new Feed-in-Tarriff (FIT) scheme you will be paid for every kwh of energy produced by your own renewable energy installation (mirco generation system), even if you use this energy yourself. The financial incentives are almost to good to be true as your system will not only generate electricity but also a handsome income, resulting in an impressive return on your investment after just a few years.

  • Reduced Electricity - As your generating your own electricity, the amount of energy you need to purchase from your normal supplier will be significantly reduced, resulting in lower bills.

  • Sell Surplus Energy - Depending on the size and type of your system, and your energy consumption, you may well have surplus electricity that can be automatically fed back in to the grid, for which you will receive additional payments

    Independence

  • You are protecting yourself from rising energy costs and even shortages - after the initial cost of installation, the energy produced is free (in fact under the feed in tariff scheme you will be paid for the energy you produce). The cost of the energy you buy from your traditional utility companies has trebled since privatisation and the governments own regulator Ofgem has warned that energy prices are likely to be going only one way.. UP!. Some experts predict peak demand virtually outstripping output as early as 2015, Whilst the possibility of black outs seems relatively unlikely, this will almost certainly mean huge hikes in energy prices.

    Environmental

  • Renewable, Emission free sources of clean, sustainable energy, which will help you reduce your carbon footprint.
